An Intra-Workout Prayer

God set all things into motion, so it's fitting to worship Him through exercise. First, get your heart and mind right with this pre-workout prayer.

During your workout, say this prayer:

Maker of Movement, fill me with energy.

You are the breath in my lungs. Grit in my grip. Power in my push.

Lighten my steps. Fuel my force.

When I’m weak, You are strong.

I can do anything through Jesus. (Philippians 4:13) (With each repetition repeat): Through Jesus.

I move for You. To God be the glory.

Repeat all of this prayer or pieces until you finish your workout. Say this post-workout prayer during or after your cool-down. And don't forget to add in this exercise recovery prayer for in between workouts, when you’re sore, while you’re soaking in an Epsom salt bath, on walks, during stretches, as you lie down to sleep, or on the Sabbath.
